voraus didn't start from scratch. After years of building complete robots, hardware and software, we turned that rare, system-level expertise into something bigger.

2017–2022Yuanda Robotics

Full-stack heritage.

We built complete cobot systems end to end, and earned deep expertise in mechanics, embedded computing, functional safety and real-time control.

Dr.-Ing. Jens Kotlarski

Robotics PhD and serial deep-tech founder. He founded his first technology company in 2012, the cobot manufacturer Yuanda Robotics in 2017, and led its pivot into voraus in 2022. Turns seemingly impossible challenges into shippable products.

Philipp Georgi

An entrepreneur across three continents. Studied industrial engineering, business and politics in Berlin and the US; held management roles in publishing, founded and sold a Shanghai e-commerce company in 2016, then built a holding for industrial companies. Turns technology into business.

Strategic Lead

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tobias Ortmaier

A heavyweight of German robotics, from research and industry. Doctorate at TU Munich, research at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), project lead at KUKA, then twelve years heading the Institute of Mechatronic Systems at Leibniz University Hannover, and CTO of a surgical-robotics company. At voraus he sets the long-term technology direction.
